I attended a concert at the castle near the guest house. The location was near restaurants, pubs, and the cathedral. The staff was cute and informative. They offered many choices for breakfast. The guest house was comfortable. It also had plenty of character.
The room was very small for a double. Parking was difficult, as there was not space for cars. My husband helped people get their cars out.

Breakfast included a variety of options, such as a full English breakfast. The breakfast service, managed by Linda, was quite friendly. It was definitely a good way to start the day, though the breakfast room was cold.

The hotel provides key access to the front door. This allowed for unrestricted access at any time after a day of activities. I appreciated this sense of freedom. I felt secure, though the parking situation was not ideal.

The room was clean and spacious. It featured an en suite with a walk-in shower. The bed was comfortable. I slept well each night, though the small room was very small for a double, but the standard double bed took up almost the whole room.

The location was near to the cathedral. It was also a few minutes walk from the castle. It was about an 8 minute walk to the centre. The location was perfect! though the parking was expensive.
